Harper Theater, 1941 and 2013

The Harper Theater was built in 1939 on Harper Avenue and Chalmers. In 1973, the theater became a venue for heavy metal concerts and was renamed Harpo's, necessitating a minor cosmetic change to the neon sign. Harpo's continues to operate to this day, though the building and business are for sale.
