Lap Pool

Sitting at the bottom of the east light well next to the old gymnasium is something a lot of Cass Tech students never saw - the original pool. Featuring a diving board, four lanes for racing, and a wonderful skylight, the lap pool served students until the construction of the new wing in the early 80's. The old pool was drained and locked up, left relatively intact even after the school closed.
