West Side Spiritualist Church was a historic place of worship in Columbus, OH. The church was built on land donated by a member in 1911 and held its first service in 1912. Only a year after being dedicated the church was damaged by the great flood of 1913, with over 400 people being rescued from the building.
In 1948 the congregation folded and was used by various faiths over the next 60 years. Greater Christ Temple Apostolic Church used the building from 1974 to 2008, when it too closed. While historic preservationists hoped to convert the building into something that could be used by the community, it is slated to be demolished to make way for a new housing development.
