Balfour Manor Apartments

The Balfour Manor was an apartment complex in Highland Park built in 1923. Designed by Charles Agree, the 4-story building was arranged in a U-shape with a courtyard in between wings.

Balfour Manor burned sometime in the 1990's. Whether it was vacant before or after the fire isn't clear, but the building burned again in the early 2000's. As the years passed the building became progressively more overgrown, and collapsed several times.

It was demolished in October of 2012.
