Camp Brighton Prison
Camp Brighton was a prison near Pinckney, Michigan that operated from 1952 to 2007. Originally built to house young men, the facility switched over to all women in 2001, with beds for 401 prisoners. Due to issues with the local water supply and expensive upgrades, the prison was closed and abandoned in 2007.
Camp Brighton was demolished in 2013.
