Bama Bayou is an abandoned commercial development in the southern United States. Located in Orange Beach, Alabama on the Gulf Coast, plans for Bama Bayou included retail, hotels, entertainment venues, a marine park, and condominiums. Construction on the first phase began in 2005. The project was foreclosed on in April of 2009 after it defaulted on $21 million in loans. The site was sold to a new developer in 2018, but no work has started.
