Seneca Lodge

The Seneca Lodge is a small block of apartments on Gratiot avenue in Detroit. Built in 1926, the building appears to have been altered when Gratiot Avenue was widened in 1932. The apartments have been vacant since at least the 1990's; an extension onto the rear is barely visible.

The Seneca was destroyed by a fire on October 25th, 2016. It appears that the building was being prepared for demolition, as asbestos abatement had just recently begun.

The remains of the apartment building were demolished in January of 2017.
