Chene-Ferry Farmer's Market

The Chene-Ferry Market was one of several open-air markets established in the 1850's, along with the Eastern Market. Chene-Ferry was home to the city's first recycling program, which remained in the area until 2007.

The market has been vacant since it closed in 1990. Over the summer of 2011 the building burned several times and has been scrapped heavily.
