Detroit Police Department Third Precinct
The Third Precinct was one of several Detroit Police Department stations that closed in 2005 due to budget cuts. The vacant station was sold to Southwest Housing Solutions, a nonprofit active in Southwest Detroit. In 2011 the agency began renovating the former station, which became home to an art gallery and a lawn & garden company.
