
In 2009, St. Agnes had been closed for around two years. Though there was some light water damage, it was minimal.

By 2012, many of the masonry elements had started to crumble.

Entire walls that were more or less intact in 2009...

Had fallen a few years later.

Freeze / thaw cycles have caused the water-damaged columns to shatter...

While vandals smashed everything of value.

When this picture was taken in 2009, most of the pipes for the organ had already been removed.

By 2012, the pipes were gone, and the organ torn apart for scrap.

Some of the earliest things to vanish were the radiators.

The stone cladding on the walls fell off as the water trapped behind froze over the winter and expanded.
